Austin Power Gay Soccer Club is a diverse soccer club of LGBT and LGBT friendly players who just want to play (or learn to play) soccer. Thus, an open mind with an attitude towards fun rather than simply winning is essential. Our core values are R.I.S.C. - Respect. Improvement. Sportsmanship. Camaraderie. Yeah baby!
Due to league changes, we currently have a consolidated Division 5 match day squad and a practice/development squad. Our club practices together on Wednesdays and many of us play in indoor leagues together around the Austin area. We have room for players of all skill range, but tend to turn away those of poor, combative, or otherwise disruptive attitudes. We prioritize the safety of all players on the field and hold a high standard of sportsmanship from our squad and teammates.
